Day 01 : Yangon arrival

You will visit Sule Pagoda (located on a roundabout in downtown Yangon), Yangon City Hall (featuring classic Myanmar architectural design), the High Court (noted for its British colonial architecture, including its clock tower and its red-bricked exterior). It will be followed by visit to Kyaukhtatgyi Buddha Image - houses the fourth largest colossal reclining Buddha . Evening visit to the magnificent Shwedagon pagoda, landmark of Myanmar and one of the greatest wonders of the world. Overnight in Yangon .

Day 02 : Yangon – Thanlyin tour

thanlyin-01Arrive in Yangon International airport, meet and welcome by your guide . You will visit Sule Pagoda (located on In the morning , drive to Thanlyin ( Syriam / 55 KM / 1 hour drive ) .The city used to be the Portuguese colonial during the 16th century and famous sea port in the region. En route , you will get to see lotus covered lakes and small wooden houses in traditional village style . Upon arrival , observe the Kyauk Tan Yele pagoda , situated in the middle of the river . You can enjoy feeding the huge catfish around the pagoda.

Return to Yangon for late lunch .Afternoon , Then visit Kabaaye world peace pagoda and Mahapassana Man make cave which use to hold the 6th world Buddhish synod . Then visit Swedaw Buddha Tooth relic temple.. and walking on the bank of the Inya Lake is remarkable and ideal.
Overnight in Yangon.

Day 03 : Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo ( Golden Rock )

kyaikhtiyoe-03Morning affter breakfast , depart from Yangon to travel to Kyaik Htiyo(Golden Rock). On the way will drop in to visit Taukkyant War cemetery of second world war .. Then arrive to Bago Kyaikkhawine monastery , where a thousand monks living in this monastery ( We can arrange to offer lunch dana to the monks and the buddhist monks requesites ) .. After lunch proceed to the golden rock pagoda from Kim pun base camp, a steep11 km road leads to the upper staging point by truck. ( ON the base camp there is a orphange school organised by Buddhist monk , aroudn 600 children living here, where visitor will drop in and doing some charity works to the children ) .. On arrival at the summit, Pay the homage to the pagoda and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Overnight at kyaikhto hotel

Day 04 : Kyaikhtiyo - Bago – Yangon

bago-03After breakfast at the hotel , Early morning pilgrims will get up early and offering the morning foods to the pagoda and chanting at the pagoda .. Finish breakfast .. come down to the base camp by truck .. and drive to Bago continue the tour in Bago with, Kanbawzathadi Palace of King Bayintnaung ( 1551-1581 AD ), pay respect to Shwetharlyaung reclining Buddha image. Lunch then drive back to Yangon visit China town , the hustle and bustle market of variety seasonal fruits and local foods stall .. and the hundred over years Guaunyun temple .. Dinner then rest at hotel .

Day 05 : Yangon – Bagan Morning flight

bagan-09Early morning ,take a domestic flight to Bagan .Full day excursion by car start with Shwezigone Pagoda- built in 1087 by King Anawratha who is the founder of the first Myanmar Empire .Nat ( Sprits ) images can be found within its precincts. Drop into Alodawpyit paya , which is one of the mosts famous wish fullfilling temple among the Bagan pagadas …

Then observe the most venerated Ananda temple , built in 1090. It is the masterpiece of the early style temple architecture of Bagan error . Next must stop see is 66 meters high Thatbyitnnyu temple built in the middle of the 12th century as the highest pagoda on Bagan Plain . Then study 12th century mural painting inside the Gubyaukgyi temple , built in 1113 by princess Rajakumar . Afternoon, highlights are Manuhar pagoda - built by king Manuhar, probably to portray his life as a POW ( Prisoner Of War ) ;Ape Ya Da Na temple - where you can study 11th century mural painting ; unfinished Dhamagyi temple - Bagan’s most massive temple built in 1167 AD ; Finally enjoy breathtaking sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda - a most popular sunset-viewing spot in Bagan .

Day 06 : Bagan full day tour

bagan-10Early morning ,visit Lawkananda monastery pay respect to the head monk …, Then Myazedi Pagoda , well known for its stone inscription which , was engraved in 4 language as in Myanmar, Mon, Pali, and Pyu on 4 sides of a stone. Kyansitthar Umin, the tunnel was built in the late thirteenth century, Nagayon Pagoda was built at the end of the 11th century and it resembles the Indian temples of the area of Orissa. Abeyatanar Pagoda ,famous for paintings that cover the inner walls. Lunch at local restaurant . Then visit Nga-kywe-na-daung Pagoda, early Pyu type brick masonry stupa. After Lunch , visit Mingalarzedi , noted for its fine proportions and for the many beautiful jataka tiles around its three square terraces, Then Sunset by boat on the Ayeyarwaddy Pagoda . Dinner then overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 07 : Bagan – Mandalay – Amarapura ( early morning flight )

amarapura-03Morning after breakfast , take flight to Mandalay , Upon arrival ,drive to Amarapura- once a royal city and now it is where the best craftsmen of the country have their ateliers ; enjoy the great serenity of U Bein wooden Bridge constructed in 1849 is about three quarter of a mile with 1086 posts ; and photo stop at Mahaganthayon monastery the largest teaching monastery in Myanmar ( the pilgrims can offering lunch dana to a thousand monks here or the requesites ) . Head your way to Mahar Myat Muni Buddha Image - the most ancient Buddha image castled in bronze in Myanmar ; Shwe Nandaw Monastery - the most beautiful monastery dated 19 century ..Evening , Then continue to Kuthodaw Pagoda complex - the largest book in the world ( 792 stone tablets into which are inscribed the entire Buddhist canon are completed in 1878 ) . Finish the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to enjoy sunset . Overnight stay at Hotel ..

Day 08 : Mingun – Sagaing- Mandalay Car

sagaing-02Morning after breakfast , that take a private boat on Ayeyarwaddy to Mingun - located 11 Km form Mandalay. Things to see are Mingun Bell -12 feet high ,has a diameter of 16 feet 3 inches at the lip and weighs 90tons is the biggest hanging bell in the world ;and Pahtodawgyi Pagoda - built in 1791 is the biggest brick pile in the world . .

Afternoon , continue to Saggaing Hills - home of over 400 Buddhist monasteries and known as a major religious retreat .At the entrance , visit Kaung Mu Daw Pagoda - an 36 meters high dome-shaped pagoda in White was modeled after the Mahaceti in Sri Lanka . Continue to Sone Oo Pon Nya Shin pagoda –from where you can enjoy panoramic view of Saggaing hill and Ayeyarwaddy River .

Day 09 : Mandalay – Yangon

After lunch, shopping in the Bogyoke market formerly "Scott market", where you can get a wide range of Myanmar handicraft, jewelries, fabrics, lacquer wares and so on. Then visit China town. Then rest at hotel.

Day 10 : Yangon Departure
